Tall ships

The beauty of home call is that you can sometimes have time to do things you enjoy while waiting for pages.

Today, Patrick and I went on an adventure to the waterfront for the Tall Ships festival.  We had a chance to climb on board a few of the tall ships, listen to pipers and drummers and all sorts of other musicians and wander the beauty of the waterfront and weave our way through nauseatingly thick crowds.

Here are a few pictures from our adventure.

The crowds.

A ship passing by.

Patrick pretending to be captain of the ship.

The boat that was used in Pirates of the Caribean.

The first ship we hopped.

The frog on the front of a boat.
