Weekly Photo Challenge: Forward

This week’s photo challenge with the Daily Post is entitled “Forward.”

When I think forward, I think of moving onward and upward.

And thus, I chose this picture from a hike Patrick and I took at Gros Morne National Park.  The hike was 10km, it was strangely warm for that area and well, once you go one way, you have to go back the whole way too.  It was a lot of moving forward, but it was a beautiful forward.100_4164

On our adventures in this park, we also saw these trees which are blown and salt-sprayed to the point that most trees  only have needles on the half away from the predominant wind direction, another example of forward.100_4204
