Weekly Photo Challenge: Abandoned

This week’s photo challenge with the Daily Post is called “Abandoned.”

When I was a kid, I was convinced that my life was a scary book or mystery book and clearly I needed to be all Nancy Drew and investigate everything. I had the most bizarre fascination with abandoned looking houses, cars etcetera because they might just be haunted or house a new mystery.

As an adult, abandoned things generally creep me out.

We once visited the most easterly point in Canada where there are old military forts running through the underside of an oceanside hill.  They have that eerie abandoned feeling to them, even when you are surrounded by people.IMG_0079 IMG_0080
